Hey guys! The 5th edition of the prestigious and much anticipated Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award event held at the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos over the weekend. This year’s AMVCA might have come and gone but what would remain on the lips of everyone is the movie 76 which bagged five awards and stole the show, winning Best Movie, Best Actress, Best Costume Designer, Best Art Director and Best Director.

Oloibiri won three awards while Vaya won two. Also, Funke Akindele won two awards for Best TV Series and Best Actress in a Comedy Movie or TV Series while the Trailblazer Award went to Somkele Iyamah-Idhalama and Legendary actor Chika Okpala aka Chief Zebrudaya took home the Industry Merit Award.
