Hey guys! The kids from Stranger Things are set to return soon after an amazing first season that introduced us to the gang, Eleven, the Upside Down and the Demogorgon.
The second season will take place around Halloween (October 31) of 1984, about a year after the events of the first season, and will explore the bigger mythology of Will‘s disappearance. With Will suffering from some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder from his time in the Upside Down and Joyce attempting to help him deal with it while trying to date her old classmate Bob to cover up her own emotions. Nancy and Mike mourn the losses of their friends Barb and Eleven, (however, Eleven is still alive and would be a major part of the season). Chief Hopper would struggle under the weight of having to cover up for the events of the first season to protect Will and Joyce while some residents of Hawkins are aware of these events. The laboratory, as well as the rift to the Upside Down, remains open and run by Dr. Owens as the characters would face a different kind of horror in contrast to the Demogorgon.
The boys; Mike (played by Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (played by Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin (played by Gaten Matarazzo) would return as we would also get to see a whole lot more of Will (played by Noah Schnapp) now that he has returned and transformed from the Upside Down. Winona Ryder would also return as Joyce Byers, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Natalie Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers and Joe Kerry as Steve Harrington. Millie Bobby Brown has also been confirmed to reprise her role as Eleven. Added to the cast for this season includes Sadie Sink as a tough 13-year-old girl Max, Dacre Montgomery as her stepbrother Billy and Linnea Berthelsen as the mysterious Roman.
The 9-episode second season is scheduled to be released 27th October and here is the trailer…
