Hey guys! The end of the Gladiators is upon us and spoilers say viewers are soon going to find out if Olivia Pope is going to betray Mellie Grant and also what comes next for Olivia and Fitz Grant.
The 7th and final season of the show will see Olivia on her way to more power, specifically, becoming the most powerful woman in the United States although Mellie is currently the president (which had been because of Olivia). With Olivia as the Chief of Staff, it is likely that she will use the position to open the door to greater power. The complications of Fitz and Olivia‘s love story also continues as he is the former president and she works for the new president. I look forward to seeing what happens to their relationship when Fitz is all the way in Vermont living a low-key life. And finally, as the new head of OPA (or should I say QPA), Quinn Perkins would face challenges without Olivia around to help her and also because of the fact that she is pregnant, Quinn would have to rely on her own skills and contacts.
The cast remains the ever-blazing Kerry Washington as the new Chief of Staff Olivia Pope, Scott Foley as NSA Director Jacob “Jake” Ballard, Darby Stanchfield as Abigail “Abby” Whelan, Katie Lowes as Quinn Perkins, Guillermo Diaz as Diego “Huck” Muñoz, George Newbern as Charlie, Jeff Perry as Cyrus Beene, Joshua Malina as David Rosen, Bellamy Young as President Melody Margret “Mellie” Grant, Joe Morton as Elijah “Eli”/”Rowan” Pope, Cornelius Smith Jr. as Marcus Walker and Tony Goldwyn as Fitzgerald “Fitz” Thomas Grant III. Homeland‘s Shaun Toub and Suicide Squad‘s Jay Hernandez have been cast for recurring roles on the final season of Scandal which is set to begin from 5th October.
